Interesting tidbits

Over a foot of snow fell on Myrtle Beach the morning we were to bring Christopher home from the hospital. That was VERY uncommon for the Myrtle Beach area. They had no snow removal equipment, so when you drove you better have had a four wheel drive or wait for the snow to melt. We ended up making it home safely, but when we got there the power was off. I had to go buy a generator and a couple of electric heaters to keep it warm enough in the house for the new baby. Luckily the power came back on the next day and everything worked out alright.
