found a little more information, Johann Ulrich Knoyer,or kneauer was born abt,1758 in york co,PA.the son of anna barbara, and leonhardt or leonard kneyer, or kneauer, Johann's death aug 1814 in bloom twp, fairfield co, OH.he was my original relitive, have much more information on the kenoyer, or kneauer in the U.S.A many served In our civil war, of wich I have a record.
